Your Special Contribution Means So Much!

The Michigan Parkinson Foundation provides many programs and services to people affected by Parkinson's and their loved ones throughout the State of Michigan. Our activities are funded through the generosity of caring individuals, foundations and corporations. All gifts to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation are tax deductible as provided by law, and you can use your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Your generous support helps us fulfill our mission to raise funds to support research, provide treatment, and promote medical, and patient education.

Donation from an IRA if you are over the age of 70 ½

If you're 70½ or older, you can donate up to $100,000 from your individual retirement account directly to charity. The contribution counts towards your required minimum distribution and isn't included in your adjusted gross income. That could qualify you for tax breaks tied to your adjusted gross income and reduce or eliminate taxes on Social Security benefits.

Consider a gift to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation by leaving a bequest in your will.

An excellent way for you to support the Michigan Parkinson Foundation’s mission is to leave us a bequest in your will, living trust or with a codicil. One significant benefit of making a gift by bequest is that it allows you to continue to use the property you will leave to charity during your life.
